â€Å"Like most people, I am conflicted about our ethical obligations to animals,† (Hal Herzog, ‘Animals like Us’, 2011). Everyone has a definition of abuse towards animals especially depending on the situation everyone asks the same questions, â€Å"When is it okay to hit an animal?† While training your animal? When they use your new laptop as a chew toy? Showing any signs of abuse towards animals can cause a lack of trust with the animal, can cause more harm than good, and show any psychological problems the abuser might have. When you hit an animal it automatically creates a lack of fear with the animal. Hitting an animal will create a barrier between you and the animal and a majority of the time an animal just knows to flinch or run and hide when you raise your hand to it. A lot of the time when they pee on the floor or eat something they are not supposed to they do not realize it. If they have to pee then they will pee, and hitting them confuses them and invokes fear into them. Animals face a multitude of abuse from verbal, psychological, to physical just like humans do. Aristotle acknowledges that the generally accepted notion of the human good is happiness or, alternatively put, eudaimonia. Identifying the important variables in the previous studies In the first-mentioned previous research study, the variables were reward and employees financial turnover intension. On the other side, the second previous research study, the variables were customers satisfaction, financial performance and employees satisfaction. In both of the researches, the entire focuses have been made on the identification of the relationship between the variables. The questions that this research will consider re as follows: How much the employees in Australian banking sector are satisfied with their remuneration? What is the extent to which Bank of Queensland Limited has achieved employees satisfaction by providing enough remuneration and rewards? What are the challenges that Bank of Queensland Limited has faced to satisfy its employees? What are the possible ways through which the management at Banks of Queensland can improve the financial performance and level of employees satisfaction of the company? The hypotheses of this research will be as follows: H0: There is no relationship between the financial performance and employees satisfaction. H1: There is positive relationship between the financial performance and employees satisfaction. Operational definitions and measurement This study will specifically focus on two variables financial performance and employees satisfaction. These two variables are discussed below: Financial performance: Financial performance of a company indicates the financial activities and achievements of the organization (Jing and Avery 2016). The financial performance of the companies is indicated through the annual reports or financial statements of the companies. Naranjo-Valencia, Jimnez-Jimnez and Sanz-Valle (2016) stated that the success of a company is indicated by its financial performance. The financial performance of a company can be measured through ratio analysis, cost analysis, Break-even point analysis, cash flow analysis and share price analysis. Employees satisfaction: The term employees satisfaction refers to the extent to which the employees are happy to work in the organization. Martinaityte, Sacramento and Aryee (2016) opined that in order to make the organization sustainable in the market, it is important to keep the employees satisfied by paying enough amounts of remuneration and rewards. At the same time, the satisfaction of the employees also depends on the working environment of the company (Tzabbar, Tzafrir and Baruch 2016). The level of employees satisfaction can be measured by checking employee retention rate and absenteeism rate. Data collection and sampling technique A research can be conducted by using primary and secondary data. This particular research will follow both primary and secondary data. Primary data is the new data, which is not available in the existing sources (Marais and Pienaar-Marais 2016). On the other side, secondary data is the existing or old data available in different existing sources. This study will collect the secondary data from different journals, books and articles. In order to collect the primary data, the study will conduct survey and interview with the employees and management at Bank of Queensland Limited. The study will follow the probability sampling method for selecting the sample for the survey. This sampling will be done with the employees at the bank. The questionnaire will be sent to 100 employees and it is expected that atleast 50 will reply back. The study will follow the non-probability sampling technique for selecting the interview sample. The approach will be made to 7 managers and it is expected that atleast 4 will reply back. Methods of analysis This study will follow two types of analysis techniques or methods. In order to analyze the data collected from the survey, the study will follow the quantitative method of data analysis. This technique of data analysis will analyze the survey data mathematically (Caillaud, Rose and Goepp 2016). On the other side, in order to analyze the interview data, the study will follow the qualitative method of data analysis. The qualitative data analysis method will help to analyze the data in detailed manner (Silverman 2016). Research process This research will follow a systematic procedure. In the first step, the aim, objectives, questions and hypotheses of the research will be set. At the same time, the background study for the research will be done. In the second step, the literature review of the study will be conducted in order to identify and analyze the findings in the previous researches. In the third step, the methodology of the research will be set. During this particular step, the methodology for collecting and analyzing the data will be decided after verifying every available research methodology. The fourth step will be the data analysis step. In this fourth step, the collected data for the research will be analyzed statistically as well as in detail. At the same time, the findings of the analysis will be presented in a simple manner. In the fifth step, the conclusion of the research will be derived. While the conclusion of the study will be derived, the objectives of the study will be linked with the finding s. This will help understanding whether the objectives of the study are met or not. After the concluding the study, the research will provide some recommendations based on the findings of the study. Expected outcomes It is expected that with the help of this study, the relationship between the financial performance and employees satisfaction will be understood. At the same time, it is also expected that one of the hypotheses will be met after the end of the study. It is also expected that the study will identify a positive relationship between the two variables of the research. Conclusion In this research proposal, it has been identified that this particular research will aim to identify the relationship between financial performance and employees satisfaction in a business organization. For better understanding, the focus will be made on the Bank of Queensland Limited. The study will follow the survey and interview method to collect the primary data and the data will be analyzed through quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis. The study will follow the probability as well as the non-probability sampling methods for collecting the survey and interview data. HR department is responsible for many of the attributions of an organization. HRM is a strategic part in the organizational achievement of the company. HR department major daily tasks are planning and alignment, staffing, preparing compensation offers and to shape, outline and define the culture of the organization. HRM process which purpose is to attract, retain, and motive is made up of eight main practices which include HR planning, job analysis and design, recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, training and development, compensation, and benefits. HR also has to make sure they follow all laws and regulations that prohibits against discrimination based on race, sex, color, religion, or even national origin. There are numerous laws and regulations set to help employees have equality and industry unity. Labor relations maintain a relationship between those in unionized work and management concerning working conditions. Organizations must impose health and safety regulations and strictly practice them in order to prevent industry related accidents which are adversely impacting the economy due to more occupational illnesses and fatalities that are reported each year. Strategic HRM planning is one of the most important pieces of an organization’s operations. HR is an ongoing process that attempts to achieve and ensure the best fit between employees and position that needs to be filled while maintaining the sanctity of the organization. Human Resource planning process allows the achievement of an organization’s strategic objective by enhancing the ability of the organization by ensuring the company has the best qualified employees, and having those employees equipped with all the necessary tools to fulfill their jobs accordingly. I know the company I work for, at the end of the yard when we sit down and plan for what is needed for the upcoming year we have to try and take in account for everything that will be needed. The organization I currently work for received a proposal for ten upcoming jobs  but we do not have the personnel to run those jobs. It takes time to train workers well enough to run a job on their own, so it takes good planning in order to hire potential workers that will be qualified enough to learn how to fulfill the needs and requirements to execute the upcoming projects. Job analysis and job design provide the foundation for effective recruitment, selection, training, performance management, and compensation. The purpose for job analysis is to create a clear understanding of what duties, skills, and capabilities are necessary to complete the job requirements. Job design focuses on structuring particular jobs in such a way that it attracts those who might suit it, as well as enhance job satisfaction, and meet the needs of the company. â€Å"Through job analysis, organizations become better able to match the right people to the right jobs through developing a clearer understanding of what jobs entail as well as what skills and talents employees must have to perform their duties effectively† (Youssef, 2012). Once a year my employer has each employee write down all the job functions they perform. The managers, then either let them retain their job functions or takes some away to incorporate a new position. Since employees are considered the most valuable asset of a company it is essential to attract qualified workers to be able to sustain the organizations competitiveness. HR must be able to attract candidates through internal sources and external sources via advertising, employment agencies, online, school boards, temp agencies, and direct hire. During recruitment a business has to try and differentiate between potential workers who will possess the job skills needed to perform adequately and those who do not, but while doing so it is crucial for the company to adhere to all the laws and regulations implemented by the government. A company must administer Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) to those who apply, which means in no way should an employer base a candidates skill on their ethnic background, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or age. During the recruitment process, affirmative action policies make it a requirement that employers show initiative in hiring a diverse pool of applicants to fill positions available. We have a diverse pool of applicants that come and apply with my company. Most of the applicants will get hired regardless of their race, nationality or age, the best factor that prohibits one from getting hired on is language barrier. Selecting the right employee to fill a position is one of the most challenging decision making processes a company has to make. The ultimate goal of employee selection is to hire the candidate who is most compatible not only with the organization but for the position that they are trying to fill. In order for the candidate to be successful in a particular position, their talents and personal goals must be taken into consideration and objectives need to be utilized in order to retain qualified individuals. The most common forms of selection methods are resumes and applications but testing, interviews, reference checks, honesty tests, medical exam and drug testing are other forms that are utilized in the selection process. I believe resumes/applications and honesty, medical exams, and drug testing are the best methods to administer when trying to filter out candidates. Performance evaluating, feedback, corrective actions are all essential when processing performance appraisals. This is to help regulate the consistency and effectiveness of the business and how well the employees are functioning daily. When we administer our annual performance evaluations to determine if we were successful at executing the necessary duties and eligibility for a pay increase, the managers gather together and discuss each employee and corrective measures that need to be taken in order to improve their skills. This is very useful when most workers believe they are performing adequately until otherwise told. A worker most likely will not know what they are doing wrong or if they are doing anything wrong if no one ever points it out. Hiring and retaining workers, pay and benefits plays an important aspect in the organization. Pay and benefit packages are commonly used to attracted the best candidates and retain currently employed workers. When companies pay better rates than other companies in the same industry they have a higher chance of keeping the more qualified workers and less likely of a chance of losing an employee to competitors. Pay is usually the primary motivator when considering a position and benefits such as health insurance, location of work, work hours and opportunity for job advancement, bonuses, retirement and rewards are all taken into consideration as well when accepting a job offer. I know when I was proposed a new job offer from another company I had the opportunity to make more money than I was making at my current job. I decided to decline the offer though because even though I would be making more money the hours were less and since it wouldn’t be considered a full time job, they did not  provide benefits nor did the offer overtime like my current position. So in the long run I would be worker less hours and getting less take home pay even though the hourly wage was higher. HRM is the process of managing an organization’s employee’s, it is responsible for attracting, selecting, training, compensating, disciplining, promoting, demoting and rewarding of employees, while overseeing organizational leadership and culture and ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws. In an organization every manager is considered an HR manager since managers are the ones that do most of the let work to support HR managers. Managers are the enforcers and implement workers policies and make sure workers adhere to the rules. It takes a team to run an organization, which is why people are considered the most important asset to the organization.
